Form what Oliver could tell, Elio was asleep. Either that or, for some reason faking it. Which wasn’t exactly out of the realm of possibility for Elio. He did look peace full. Far to peace full for a completely awake and alert Elio. One that was constantly over thinking every detail of every aspect of life. At least that’s how it seemed. No, now he was splayed out in his favourite law chair. Sunglasses laying across his face just show and those swim trunks forever barely hanging on to his hips. He was a smooth expanse of sun kissed skin. Beautiful. Elio was beautiful. If he’d had a camera on him, Oliver would have taken a picture but he didn’t. So he just soaked the imagine up like a sponge and hoped to god that his memory would be good enough to recall it lated. After he was satisfied with taking in the sunny day, the sweet rise and fall or Elio’s chest, Oliver moved forward he carefully, quitely, placed his papers on the table next to Elio before bending down. His arms slipping under Elio’s shoulders and under his knees so he could pick him up.
This may have been cruel but Elio had a nack for waking Oliver up in the worst sort of ways. Dropping books on the floor and looking like he hadn’t meant to. Or just kicking him ‘on reflex’. He’d bat those pretty eyes at Oliver or look up at him throw his lashes and say he was so sorry in that way that meant I got my way and I’m not sorry at all. So it was about time Oliver got him back for it. Besides, his body was hot to the touch. It wasn’t good for him to be this warm. Oliver was doing him a favour. At least that’s what he’d tell Elio once he was awake.
Walking across the grass slowly, careful not to wake Elio up anymore than he had to, Oliver smiled. “Shush, I got you.” He whispered to Elio hoping that would be enough for the younger to relax again. He stepped up on the edge of the fountain they often swan in. The water was always so pleasantly cold. Not freezing but a jolt when you first got in. It was the only thing Oliver could think of to do. He jumped in. Elio in his arms he jumped into the water and let himself sink down, taking Elio with him. He held both under for a moment before bring them both up. Whipping his head form side to side, Oliver smiled. Well that felt better. He looked down At Elio. “So sorry,” He cooed. “Did I wake you?”
