“Gaaah! You’ve gotta be kidding me! Why does this sort of crap always have to happen?!”
Kamijou Touma was currently running through the streets of Academy City like a bat out of hell. It had been some time after the Omni Devil KIng Incident and normal life was starting to return, and for Kamijou, this also meant that his misfortune would of course, throw him into another situation where he would have to run like his life depended on it once more.
Keep in mind, that Kamijou Touma was the one who ultimately ended up saving the Multiverse from a wrathful demonic entity. So why was he running away from a horde of angry girls?
The answer was laid right in his hand.
About some time ago, he had decided to go shopping at a recently opened shopping center in District 7, just to buy a few things, but as expected, nothing goes according to plan. Just as he was planning on heading into a store, a camisole floated right down on Kamijou’s head from the lingerie store up above, so the spiky haired boy did the normal thing to do, and tried to return it.
However, instead of them taking it and and thinking he had simply came to return it, the owner of said camisole outright accused him of stealing it, the store manager believed her, and before he knew it, he found himself being chased by multiple females, two of which were big and burly security guards, shouting obscenities at him like, “When I catch you, I’m gonna beat your ass so hard, you’ll never be able to sit down again!” and the like.
“Honestly human, you would have been better off, just leaving that on the ground and pretending you never saw it. This is partly your own fault for feeling compelled to return it to the store. It’s like you finding a bag of money and returning it to the bank it was robbed from minutes later.”
“You’re not helping, Othinus! I swear, why do all the Gods I know always give me useless commentary at the worst times?! Use that centuries worth of knowledge of yours to help me get out of this mess!”
Kamijou shouted at the small fairy-like girl clinging to his jacket on his right shoulder. It seemed like he wasn’t going to receive any help from those Gods like his Understander or Teacher, the latter who was nowhere in Academy City at the moment, anytime soon, so he kept on running through the streets, using the back alleys to throw off his pursuers.
After some time of making various turns, he eventually found himself in that park where a certain Vending machine was standing. Sometimes, he could find Misaka Mikoto here, performing roundhouse kicks to the poor thing, but surprisingly, she nor anyone else was nowhere to be seen.
Kamijou finally sat onto a nearby bench to catch his breath, that damn camisole still in his hand.
“Ha...Ha.... I hope I lost them....”

“Shh - I just got him off to sleep”. She smiled softly, closing the door behind her carefully, pausing for a moment to listen out for any sounds that would show that her son had woken, her ability reaching out one last time, checking that he was calm and asleep before she crossed the room and gently tugged on Bowen’s arm, guiding him towards the sofa, “I’m sorry that took so long. He sometimes has nightmares...” She hummed, grabbing a blanket before curling up next to Bowen, snuggling into his side happily as she pulled the bowl of popcorn back over to sit by their side, “Alright. Let’s see how this ends then. Mafia movies are always quite amusing to me”.

There was a bit of a blush, a smile and a laugh all at the same time. “I think you know the answer to that…” Which could be taken in a suggestive and non-suggestive way, both relating to her. “I do, though it’s mostly for work. I haven’t really travelled around for fun in ages. I just keep coming back to see you most of the time.” Though, that did give a thought… “Maybe we could have some fun in another universe for a change…”
“Well then, Bow-Wow, perhaps I should appreciate you more.~” The demoness gave a playful but quite intensive gaze at him, merely to keep him blushing, knowing how he easily did so by her.
“I’ve been in this world for so long, and it starts to bore me out. Always the same people, the same places, the same scenarios. A different change of pace can do wonders, don’t you think?~”

"Boy.. good thing they aren't talking about 'Grunge' these days anymore..."
“Sorry, Galarian girl here. I think grunge is mostly an unova thing, didn’t have much impact overseas.”

A hefty groan escapes from the princess as the dust clears, then she looks around. Where did she even land? It looks like... Some sort of ship. A large one, at that. Shit- She’s really hoping she didn’t land on an enemy battleship, or even worse, one from her kingdom. Only one way to find out.
Letting out another groan from her now-sore back, she opens the front of the escape pod and surrenders with her hands up and her ears down, hoping to avoid conflict if possible.

A faintly-webbed hand pats at the glass excitedly, trying to get the attention of one of the visitors. Children are standing in front of the tank, imitating the mermaid, but she pays them no mind.
The fins at the end of her tail sway curiously as she watches the human, wanting him to come closer. But she can only make so much noise, and she’s starting to wonder if smacking at the glass is even working.
