Pizza date with @inter-dimensional-traveller!
“Done for the day!” Anzu exhaled deeply, cheer running through her voice as she stretched her arms. Exiting the dance studio, the girl was ready for the Saturday night ahead of her, having both the Sunday and Monday off from her studies and dance requirements. Excitement bubbled through her, she lowering her hands to sweep up her phone, double checking the time.
It had been a few weeks since Anzu’s initial move to New York City from Domino City, the apartment now well lived in, her schedule matched up to her liking—school, study, then part time work at the local dance studio—and the few texts every day between her and Bowen. He couldn’t often stay, his work still demanded him, even if it allotted him freedom, but communications between dimensions had vastly improved in a short amount of time.
Even more improved? Bowen’s accurate punctuality to meet her when he could. Like today.
She stood outside the studio for a moment, ensuring the time on her phone before she skirted around the corner to a dead end alley that, although lit, had very low visibility to the outside street. Normally vacant, Anzu had offered it as a place that Bowen could slip in and out of sight undetected. “He should be here in a minute or two…” She murmured to herself, placing away her phone.
After all, they did have a date for today.
