“this is not my kink!” x-ray yells, it’s not really directed at the guy next to him. there’s just a secret hope that maybe whoever decided to handcuff them will hear that and have mercy or at least cringe at now knowing more than they probably want to know. “no bobby pins, unfortunately but i do have my glasses.” which sounds really unhelpful since patrick doesn’t know anything about them. “they’re x-ray glasses, if we make sure our arms are far enough apart i can probably break the chain holding us together.” he tries to sound much more confident than he actually feels about his aim when it comes to using the glasses. “i’m a superhero.” he puffs out his chest as he says it, real confidence seeping into his tone now.
