THE KNIFE HAD BEEN LONG discarded to her side and Sima herself had taken to leaning over the back of her chair. Everything about her looked rather dishevelled now; hair, makeup, clothing... Even her heels had been lost in what had happened before Harmony had entered the room. Yet, the words of the young witch caused Sima’s gaze to lift and her bloodied hands to quickly curl up into fists to hide the crimson stains upon her palms.
She was glad that the body was hidden by her desk. Harmony did not need to know the full truth of what Sima had just had to deal with; half-truths and vagueness would suffice for the time being ~ or at least, she hoped that it would. “ Someone tried to come in and attack me... I protected myself. ” More fool them who dared even try to attack the nephalem, yet some still did; some even knew that certain weapons were needed to do so, too. Thankfully, although this person had gotten hold of such a weapon, Sima herself, was prepared.
