normality is what was expected of them, and if there was one thing that dami was good at when it came to the capitol, it was wearing a mask. true, it was getting harder to wear it with each passing day, but dami was trying his best. breaking away from a stylist who was wittering in his ear about something to do with a blend of new colours and fabric combinations, he grew tired of pretending that he actually cared what they had to say. his eyes spied someone dear to him-- and he needed to be near her at that point. “sorry, if you’ll excuse me, i’ve got to go speak to june. mentor things, you understand.” he says with a sly little wink and a grin of his winning smile as he breaks away from the capitolite. it’s not long before he’s gently tapping at juniper’s shoulder with a light laugh. something he has to force under such duress that the capitol have put them through that night. “’scuse me, mind if i have this dance?” he asks, extending a hand for her to take if she so wished.
