Cecilia was soaking in her large white marble bath for the evening. She had no plans of venturing out. Just her, a bottle of delicious champaign, and her favorite jazz playlist sounding in the background. That was until her phone vibrated on the vanity counter. Cici let out an audible groan as she reached for a hand towel to dry her hands and picked up the device. A vague message from someone she hadn’t heard from in a while was offering to wine and dine her if she was available. Cecilia was not one to turn down such an offer even if it meant sacrificing her ‘me’ time. She simply replied with a ‘sure.’ and an appropriate time to meet. Hoisting herself out of the tub, she wrapped a towel around her figure and traipsed to her wardrobe.
Cecilia entered the night club and scanned the room, looking to see a familiar face. He could not be spotted so she found a seat at the bar. Placing her clutch on the counter next to her, Cici glanced down to make contact with the nearest bartender. Flagging down the closest one, she was delighted when she came across someone she recognized. “Randy? Is that you? I didn’t know you worked here.”
