“  Umihebi-kun?  ”  The eel tilts his head slightly, somewhat resembling a lost puppy as he approaches Jamil.  “  You’re in the same class as Azul, yeah? Did he leave his sakkon with ya? I’m ‘sposed to take it.  ”

@maskeradis​ :    For White Day, Adele came up with a grand plan, or so she thought. She decided to visit a certain leech twin, however, not because she wanted to hand him a gift. No. The brunette wanted to play a prank on him. So, instead of walking around with chocolate, she hid behind a bush, armed with a slingshot and a bunch of handmade takoyaki for ammunition. The moment Floyd approached, she jumped out of her hiding spot. With her slingshot in hand, she aimed at his head, before shooting the food at him. Adele made sure to make the takoyaki extra spicy  —  just in case the other decided to catch it with his mouth. “Hah! Take this!” // addie @ floyd sorry not sorry :)

predictably or not so predictably, floyd’s prepared when adele begins to pelt pieces of takoyaki in his direction. the little teppō̄o may have thought she was being sneaky but he could smell his favorite treat long before he was even in her general vicinity. he’d be able to smell it even if they were miles away. silly fishy, don’t you know eels use their acute sense of smell to hunt? you can run but you can’t hide. even then he doubts many could outrun him for long.

as each piece of delicious takoyaki is hurled toward him, floyd manages to catch each one in his open mouth. as the eel keeps his mouth open wide, his second jaw & set of teeth peek through, giving an underlying feeling of danger as he reveals his bares his threatening maw in her direction. 

when he’s finished catching them all, floyd pauses, looking briefly pensive as he mulls over the taste of the treats he’s been given. there’s something different about this batch of takoyaki. teppō̄o-chan really likes her spices it seems. it doesn’t really bother him though. floyd can handle a little kick like this & then some. the added flavor is even welcome really. the eel flashes a satisfied smile in adele’s direction, letting out one of his signature cackles.  ❛    ehehehehe ~ thanks for the snack, teppō̄o-chan. but what gives? did’ja think this would stop me from takin’ a bite outta ya?    ❜

❛    crabby’s not here yet?   ❜  they were supposed to start practice fifteen minutes ago. floyd doesn’t like waiting.

@magicalshift​​ :    graves is doing his best to focus on the book he has open, electing to pay no mind to the twin of rielle's boyfriend he's been practically abandoned with. very cute, rielle, graves thinks drily. he was dragged off-campus with the promise of it being a fun outing and a chance for graves to really meet jade finally, and the fact that the twin was coincidentally also coming along was conveniently left out... " if you don't mind, " he says to floyd, excusing himself into a mental leave to read.

graves may have excused himself from floyd’s attention, but floyd has yet to relinquish his newfound interest in the other. the eel scoots closer, carelessly draping an arm around the elder’s shoulder. on grave’s other shoulder floyd places his chin, peering curiously at the book he’s holding. ❛    eh? what’s that ya readin’ barnacle?    ❜  its hard to say whether floyd has a sincere interest in the book or merely takes enjoyment in bothering graves. perhaps both as he inches even closer to him. 

he’ll have to thank starfishie next time they get the chance to talk. floyd’s been getting bored with the small fries he sees in school everyday. even with goldfishy who had once been his favorite person to play with. but now he has a new plaything to toy around with until the next time he gets bored. which depending on his mood could take from a few weeks to a few seconds. but as floyd feels graves stiffen in his hold, the eel is inclined to think it’s closer to the former. playing with your food is more fun when it fights back, y’know?

❛    oh, you’re the one here for starfishie, aren’t ya?    ❜  there’s a playful smile on floyd’s face as he leans into the open doorway of his bedroom. this guy just screams royal sword academy, floyd can practically smell it off him. he’s not sure why he the other looks uncomfortable though. maybe because floyd is only in his pajama pants. the leech doesn’t really see a problem though. he at least remembered pants this time. ❛    he & jade went out a little while ago. but you can play with me until they get back. ~    ❜
