With a delicious revani cake baking in the oven, Lysandra flitted around her house making sure everything was perfectly tidy and orderly. Soft music was playing from her record player, the windows were open, bathing the entire place in warm light and it smelled delicious. Baking delicacies from the Greek homeland was her specialty and she loved being able to spoil Andie in any kind of way, especially in sweet treats that she had cherished since she was a young little reptile herself. Ever since she had patched things up with Sabine and fallen in sync with their new dynamic, Lys had been in an amazing mood. Plus the criminals had been captured, life in the city was straightening itself again, the deputy was happy. 

Hearing the door open, she called out from her spot by the open as she pulled out the freshly baked cake. “In the kitchen, asteri mou. I hope you brought an empty belly because I made some good things for us. You said you wanted to watch a movie? Whatever you wish, I am ready. @gorgon-andie​

Lysandra’s high heels echoed in the marble hallways of the Council Chambers as she hurriedly barked orders at the assistants that were running after her. She had just arrived in the city a few hours later only to find it in a state of utter chaos after the rebel attack. It was clear that they needed her help more than ever and the gorgon was ready to roll up the sleeves of her very expensive Burberry coat and get her hands dirty. As the newly appointed Gorgon deputy for the Council, she couldn’t wait to meet the other members and her fellow ruling Gorgon. She had many plans and ideas that she had been learning and collecting all over the world (not to mention a PhD in International Law) that she was sure Firebrand could benefit from. She dismissed the assistants as she made her way into the chambers, horrified at the mess laying about. The statues she recognized right away, rebels having met their end at the hands of a Gorgon. She couldn’t help but feel proud at a fellow sister’s work. Maybe they should keep some of them as a warning. Plus, they made fine art, they always had. 

Walking over towards an empty desk to place her briefcase, she noticed a figure sprawled on the other side of the room. “Oh, pardon me. I was assured the floor was cleared.” When the figure did not move fast enough, Lysandra peered at them in annoyance over her sunglasses only to feel her whole being freeze with dread. Her mind flooded with memories of gentle kisses, soft hands, tender touches, sweet words, a baby cooing and so much pain. It was all so violent that Lys had to brace herself against the table, a choked question escaping her lips. “...Sabine?”

Lysandra rolled her neck, stretching her aching muscles as she walked out of her office to take a break. As per usual, she was dressed in her most business chic fashion, expensive briefcase in tow and high stilettos. From very early in the morning, she had been pouring over paperwork, trying to learn everything there was to know about the city, its inhabitants and whatever could be useful as the new gorgon deputy. She had even resorted to using a computer, and the Gods knew she had a centuries old feud with modern technology.

Making her way down the halls of the Council, she spotted a redhead she recognized from the records: Dragon Councilwoman Feldrurth and decided it was time to introduce herself. She hadn’t exactly made a lot of allies since her arrival in the city. Approaching the woman, Lys spoke up politely before stretching out her hand, “Pardon the intrusion, Your Grace. I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Lysandra Aetos, the new deputy gorgon and it’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance.” @dragon-feldrurth​

Another day, another headache. In almost 3,000 years of being alive, Lysandra swore she hadn’t had this many headaches. Or maybe she had. She couldn’t remember. But being in Firebrand and around Sabine and around Persephone had awakened so many feelings and reopened so many wounds and created so many new ones, that she had buried herself in an outrageous amount of work (most of which she had created herself). And she had to admit that even for a Gorgon, she had been resting too little. It was close to 3 am when she left her office in desperate need for a drink (she was somehow out of wine at home, what kind of Greek was she?) and an unkempt little place called Last Call just happened to be open.

Desperate enough, she made her way inside and after wiping down a secluded section of the bar on a far corner, she sat down and waited to be served. @selenealdrete

Lysandra’s heels echoed along the grand Council halls as she headed towards the prosecutor’s office. Between reconnecting with her daughter and reconstructing her relationship with her wife, she had put her friendships a little bit on hold. And now it was time to change that.

It was the end of the day and like Lysandra herself, the gorgon knew Maeve was a workaholic so she was most definitely still around. Lo and behold, her lights were still on. Leaning on the doorframe, the older woman gave a little knock to announce her presence. “Madame Prosecutor. Pens down. Here’s an idea. You, me, that fancy sushi place by the water. Lots of wine. No more work.”

Lysandra walked out of the Pride room very satisfied that her hair, make up and outfit were still intact and as flawless as ever. She had been walking around the club for a little while, indulging in some cocktails and absorbing the vibe of debauchery and depravity. It was honestly a nice change of scenery compared to the usual uptight and controlled atmosphere that ruled her life and she was in the mood to have some nice and maybe slightly shameless fun. Maybe it was her sexcapades with Sabine or the sweet witch they had been enjoying lately, but the gorgon wanted to let her hair down. Maybe she would visit the Greed room next... That was when she bumped into an absolute vision dressed in sparkling red, a vision she might have been slightly avoiding since she had arrived in Firebrand. Because Theodora was too much of a reminder of a past that Lysandra’s current poised and professional and impeccable self had tried to leave behind. “Oh. Forgive me, darling. I didn’t see you there.” She hurried out, trying to regain her composure and push away the memories of how the succubus had always been able to throw a party. “My, my, my. Long time, no see. But you surely haven’t lost your touch. And you look as captivating as ever, Theodora.” @succubus-theodora​

Lysandra stepped out of the Council Chambers looking as elegant and poised as ever in her stilettos and designer wardrobe. It was finally the end of the week and it was well past work hours, but regular schedules meant nothing to her. She was always at her office early and left when the building had been mostly vacated. And especially tonight, she had stayed at her desk, aimlessly going over paperwork and downing a bottle of strong greek ouzo; liquid courage in preparation for her encounter with Sabine. An ongoing affair, purely sexual in nature that had been happening since the Fae Ball. They would get drunk, they would enjoy each other’s bodies and leave without saying a word to each other. It was delicious self destruction. 

The gorgon made her way across a local park to clear her head before calling her driver when she spotted a beautiful woman she had never seen before, barefoot on the grass. She wore the collar of a traitor and Lysandra felt the dominant side of her rearing its head to the surface as she called her over. “You. Come here.” She lit a cigarette as she waited for the woman to approach. “What is your name and where are you employed?” @paige-hibbins​
