“I’m sorry,” he chuckled. He grinned a little bit as he looked down at her. “You just look absolutely amazing today, and I find myself wanting to spend some of my afternoon with you.”
Ash smiled at him when he complimented her before chuckling softly. “Well,” she said slowly. “I guess that would be okay- what did you have planned for the afternoon?”

"Oh hey!" Ash called after the guy who was walking away from where he had been sitting on the beach. "Hey you forgot your shirt!" she called to him after snatching up the article of clothing in question and running after him. "Wait!" she caught his arm, panting as she did, running on sand was not easy. "Your shirt," she held it out with a soft pant. "You forgot your shirt."

"Oh, come on. You don't like to be bossed around?" Matt teased, grinning widely at the other man. "I'll try my hardest." He smirked and winked at him.
“Eh, who doesn’t like being bossed around a little?” Wilder grinned before biting his lip slightly. “So erm, maybe want to get a drink sometime or something?”
“don’t go falling in love with me.”
"Don't tell me what to do," Wilder grinned at Matthew before he ran his fingers through his hair. "But yeah, don't you go falling in love with me either."
[ STOP ] sender reaches out and takes receiver’s face into their hands, drawing them away from what they’re doing so they can just look at receiver for a moment.
Ash looked away from what she was doing as Matthew’s hands gently turned her head to look at him and smiled at up at him. “What’s up?” she asked as she looked up at him.

“Well I do appreciate that,” Matt said with a nod, smiling lightly at her. “Though, you don’t need to worry. It’s not very sentimental to me.” He chuckled. “But hey, how about I offer my gratitude somehow? Would you care to grab a drink with me?”
“Oh, well you don’t have to do that- but sure!” she smiled cheerfully. “What did you have in mind?” she asked as she stepped a little closer, happy to be hopefully making some more friends.
