“Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog. You look good, Thalia.” he teased the other, holding a shot of tequila out for her to take with a mischievous smirk on his face. “I know my boy Chase is out the game for another month or so but what’s your sex schedule lookin’ like?” he knew the answer, but the joke was too good to give up. It was nice to see Thalia is good spirits after all that’d happened and he just wanted to make her smile.

Given how close Nancy was to Jade, she felt somewhat responsible to form a bond with Thalia as well. She was the one who broke the heartbreaking news on an early Nashville morning. She’d asked Thalia to come out shopping with her as she looked for a dress to wear to her brother’s wedding and decided she would use this time to get to know her better. Sure, there were bits and pieces she knew from Jade and her older family members who knew Thalia before she left, but they never got to have these moments. “Do you think you’ll be coming to my brother’s wedding?” she asked softly, looking at the other woman with a soft smile on her face as she eyed through the various dresses that were on display. She lifted the iced coffee in her hand to take a sip as she awaited the answer, also trying to figure out what look she was going for as well.
