“Look at the king.” he smiled as he looked over at his face, bumping his fist against the others as he took a sip of his drink. “I see Selin is here lookin’ like she just stepped fresh off filmin’ Football Wives. Y’all doin’ good?” he had to ask. This woman and her cry for attention came out of nowhere, so he was curious on the matter as a whole. She was gorgeous, so at least she wasn’t annoying and hard to look at.

HOSPITAL

Game day went as planned. They were short on luck without their star player by their side, but Dante made sure the entire stadium knew that the win was for Chase and Leo. He didn’t like to tap into those depressing emotions of dealing with the brunt of death and thoughtless attacks. He never liked Ronnie, not even a little bit. The dude always had creepy vibes and to think he hurt so many of the people Dante cared about and killed someone he considered a brother? He was glad Ronnie was dead if he had to be honest.

He stepped into the hospital room with a smile on his face, glancing over at the fish and letting out a chuckle with his fist in front of his mouth. “Martin livin’ the high life now, huh?” He sat down in the chair at Chase’s bedside, leaning back with his elbow’s resting on the arms and his hands resting one on top of the other. “How you feelin’ though? I know it ain’t easy dealin’ with this shit but.. you strong and I know you’ll be. Lu told me what you did for her..” nodding slowly, the smile not showing signs of going anywhere. “You a real one for that.. don’t forget that shit, bro.”
