Hey, please don’t feel pressured to respond to this. It’s genuinely just me being curious, and I am not in any distress.
Have any other Autistic people had someone die and just feel… nothing? I’ve only had two great grandparents and a normal grandparent pass away, and I wasn’t super close to any of them. My grandparent passing felt somewhat worse, because I was definitely closer to her than the other two generally speaking. But overall I kinda just immediately accepted that she was gone, death is just a part of life. It’s a little worrisome, especially because I usually feel emotions so dang strongly, but I’m pretty confident that it’s not something I need to be super worried about.
I just wondered if anyone else felt like this…
I am in a fortunate position where no one I am close to has ever died, so I feel I personally am unable to answer your ask. However I am going to post this anyway and let people respond with their own experiences and thoughts. I hope that this helps you ^^
Returning to the world after the harsh winter, awakening from the cold and the bitter to something lively and exciting, the world was beginning a new. It was growing back from the death and the lost, and giving life to new horizons, such is the cycle rinsed and repeated. So of course as per routine, it was now the time of return of the arcane and enigmatic Scrybe of Chance.
Extending her wings broadly as she landed upon the stone of the small pathway, leading to a manor, Haya could be heard groaning softly as she watched bits of her molt fray off of her feathers. This was a joyous time, of reunion ti her friends and her husband, however that isn’t to say it didn’t come with its downsides.
“Mistress of the Dark, are you present?”
Haya would call absently as she rapped her fist against the frame of the door, ears flicking softly as she poised to wait for an answer. Her lips pulled into a thin smile as she shifted her weight from one leg to the other, and could be noted to hum to the tune of small children’s song, a rhyme from not long ago.

At first silence is all that greats the chimera. Silence and the gentle sound of wind, but that was not uncommon. The realm of shadows was always a rather quiet place even at night where life would come to well life. But fortunately enough the silence was not long lasting. The sound of heavy locks could be heard clicking open, followed by the low creak of the door being pulled slowly open. Between the cracks of the door a lone golden eye could be seen peaking through it widening almost instantly as it pulls back and the door is pulled fully open
"Haya!" Juno loudly chirps with a nonexistent smile. Though one threatens to form on her face as she stares at her fellow scrybe and close friend. One that she had not seen for quite some time; and was noticeably surprised to see her at her door step but appeared thrill all the same.
"Goodness I haven't seen you in a while! It's so good to see you again a old friend! How have you been?"

May I ask, how does greasy hair feel on the scalp? I’m trying to figure out if I’m having sensory issues or just being annoyed at it
It depends on hair length, type, texture, level of greasiness and level of sensitivity. I recently got a hair cut but I did have very long hair before that (lower back). When my hair was greasy, sometimes it would just feel kinda gross, but other times it would feel borderline painful and overstimulating. Like someone had attached a bunch of tiny weights to strands of hair that pulled just enough that it was hard to take.
Anyone else can leave their experiences and thoughts in the replies. Thank you for this ask!
Hello, I love your tumblr and tumblr in general, but i don't know how to use it xDI have met a person who has become my best friend and is a person with asperger's. I don't want zim to bear the burden of my understanding, correcting the mistakes little by little. That's why I ask, where can I start to inform myself? There are tons of books, papers & experiences. The internet is a library of eternal wisdom mixed with spam and idiocy. Could you give me some recommendations for first readings?
Don’t mean to #self-promo but this blog is a good start, you can find a lot of people here with autism who might be willing to help you out and take you to resources that are trustworthy and helpful. There’s also my relatabites and any asks I answer, which you can find by searching for #autism relatabite or #ask on my blog!
Other than that there’s some other tumblr blogs and the #actuallyautistic tag. I’m hesitant to recommend actual websites as a lot of them are written by people that don’t have autism or understand it beyond a medical stance.
Never trust a website/company called Autism Speaks. Ever.
If anyone else has any suggestions please leave them in the notes!
