An ambivalent 'reacting/attacking' dress by designer Anouk Wipperecht and hacker Daniel Schatzmayr. Don't get too close.
Fashion and technology have fused once again. Dutch design group Studio Roosegaarde have created a dress that have alternating state of transparency according to the heartbeat of its wearer. Using e-foil technology, the frock turns transparent according to how the wearer feels about the people around her. I can see Lady Gaga placing an order for the dress as we speak.

This one is interesting. A pulsating dress by Dutch designer Cor Baauw. The piece is called Like Living Organisms. Inspired by interactions between humans, the dress "pulsates" when air is pumped through the artificial veins while the neck piece deflates upon touch. It is equipped with sensors to "feel" the touch, a true fuse of fashion and technology.
"TECHNOSENSUAL. where fashion meets technology" in Viena will be showcasing garments equipped with high tech material.
This includes a dress named Intimacy 2.0, designed by Studio Roosegaarde in collaboration with V2_Lab and Anouk Wipprecht with sensors and conductive smart foils, which transforms from opaque to transparent to increase the intimacy between the wearer and people around her !
