Wednesday 10th May 2017-Interactive PDF Workshop
This morning I attended a workshop to learn how to create basic interactive PDF’s using InDesign. I thought this workshop would be extremely useful and relevant to my project, as this is the sort of this I aim to create for my final outcome.
Open day pack for colleagues at Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service. The electronic brochure was designed to display the different products available to order and the customisation that can be done by the client. The document was an interactive pdf. The document successfully streamlined the ordering process and reduced the need for costly bespoke ordering.

Our brief shows that we must create either an editorial or digital Monograph. I will always be particularly be drawn towards the Editorial side of graphic design. Although saying this, for this project I wanted to step outside my comfort zone. This is because, in the industry, you would be faced with different projects, which might not necessarily be what you are strong at. Stepping out of my comfort zone will expand my knowledge and improve my skills.
From this, I have decided to go towards the Digital Design outcome. I will have to research into current interactive magazines and other ways to produce a digital outcome.
