My other non-functional shelby is named after a horseshoe crab, but i cant think of any cool bugs to name him after due to my excitement!
(Also please mind his taped-up tennies. His antennae covering was completely rotted off and i meeded to protect the wires underneath. The shelby in the GIF is not mine, only the photos are mine)
Here's Matlock, my Ladybug Shelby! I got this little guy a few months back, and I never really had the chance to take a photoshoot with the little guy until I went to the aquarium with someone about a month ago!! :D
He fits right in with all the aquatic life and scenery and was very lovely to photograph within the aquarium : ]
His colors are absolutely stunning, and I couldn't be happier to have another Shelby in my collection! :>

her poor antennae are smashed to bits :( I got her for relatively cheap because of her poor condition. Any ideas on how to potentially repair her antennae, either to restore back to working order or even just aesthetically replacing them??

A few of the gang chilling in my bag until tomorrow when I get home from my dad's! I'm super psyched to fix up the new one I have and finally put some fresh batteries in Shelby again :) ❤️❤️
this is my shelby! i have yet to name him, i think ill choose it after i customize him a bit. let me know if you have any ideas for customizing him or his name! im so excited though, i got him for like 40 bnib which ive found to be pretty good. he’s a little wonky but he’s such an angel, which is weird because ive heard how rude they’re supposed to be, but he’s so sweet and always telling me he loves me.
I surprised my boyfriend with a Shelby last night, and he loves the little guy!😊💕 He isn’t currently named, but we have already showered him with love and attention! My pups have given him some kisses too🐚✨
