I graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with a Doctor of Philosophy in Intercultural Studies! 14 years ago, I thought I would not finish a Bachelor's degree, let alone a Master's or PhD. God has been faithful. My parents has been ever-supportive. My wife has been amazing. I could not have done this without them. 我畢業於三一神學院，並獲得跨文化哲學博士學位！ 14年前，我以為大學都畢業不了，更不用講碩士或博士。 上帝是信實的。 多謝父母與太太的支持。 沒有他們我就不可能成為莊博士。 P.S. Today my Professor brought me to see an art exhibit featuring high school continuation students. They were encouraged to find their artistic outlet, and through mentors, guided to complete their education. My heart was on fiyahh seeing the stuff they created and the affirmation art had allowed them to have. Anyway. SE Asia, I miss you. I drove on 35 East around 8:45pm and I felt a deep yearning crawling up inside of me wanting to be back overseas to relive the two incredible months that challenged and shaped me into the person I am today. The heat along with this scenery definitely recalled my memories from overseas. The city lights reminded me of times when I was in China and some of my teammates and I would go to the street vendors trying our best to order food, regardless of the language barrier there was. Or in Thailand after our night classes when we would stop by street vendors to buy food on our way back home.
