A certain Dark Matter was taking a stroll through the skies of Popstar. It was... a leisurely enough activity, they suppose. The opportunity to observe, to find something to do with their time.

This particular region mostly consisted of grassy plains, forests, and... a rather overwhelming, festive-looking castle(?) jutting out of the middle of it. That is probably something they'd rather avoid. But as they began to change their direction, something gave the warrior pause.

Settled not too far away from the castle... actually, is that a "theme park?" That would make more sense. In any case, not far from it was a grey and blue ship. Space-faring, from the looks of it. More importantly, however...

That's the same one they've spoken to before, isn't it? The... Lor, yes.

...Perhaps it would be... interesting, to meet again. An entity they can chat with that showed no fear previously. She's not right out in the open, either, so there wouldn't be much concern about bumping into a Waddle Dee or similar creature.

After hesitating briefly, Blade would dive down from the sky and "land" near the vessel. Their orb-like form would shift into that of their more distinct sword-wielding visage. With that, they'd approach the other.

"...Greetings?"

He watched her, expectantly as she was still. Why hadn’t she responded? Had he missed something? Was there a mistake? He was already surveying her form to see if there was anything he’d missed- he scrabbled back, the roar catching him off-guard.

Why would she do that? Why? What had he done? Wait. He knew. She hated him. Of course she did! So much. He didn’t deserve it. He wanted her to be proud. He did this for her. She hated it. She hated him. He’d PROVE he was strong, he was WORTHY.

It was a clear day in Green Greens, with just a little bit of wind. Luna stood on the branch of a tree trying to build up the nerve to jump off and see if the height would be enough for her to fly from. The field below should make for a suitable surface to crash into in the event that she screwed up. She spread her wings to feel the winds, but it didn’t make her feel any more confident. So she was just perched up there staring at the ground nervously. Occasionally, she’d shift forward as if to jump, then chicken out and step back. @interdimensional-ship

Ado taps his chin. “Theme parks, huh?” He had never been to one before. “It sounds like he didn’t build you. But he must really like you if he builds thee parks based on some of your rooms! That, or you  have a secret hidden park in here that he steals all the ideas from.” Surprising he is comfortable enough to joke around like this... Or maybe he’s serious?

“Also, troublemakers are the most fun. We can easily get what we want!” Ado, there is a difference between being a troublemaker, and fighting people. “People might get irritated, but you gotta do what you gotta do, right? That’s how you survive.” He nods in a self affirmation.

Aoi has so little experience that he doesn’t have much to say. He just nods and listens, logging everything he learns.

Fluff opened his mouth to speak, but quickly closed it. He wasn’t sure which was more concerning- the fact that somebody was claiming him as their son, or that they were a boat.

Unsurprisingly, the ever-expanding cosmos contained a vast amount of nothing within it. So easy it was, for beings like themself to drift about for days on end without noticing anything noteworthy. Normally Swordsman would be more focused on locating populous worlds Dark Matter had yet to discover, except...

No orders. There have been absolutely no signs of Zero's presence since they "pulled themself together"—literally. The possibility of their master having been eliminated seemed all the more likely as time passed, yet that still left the question of how that could have happened in the first place. Zero, of all beings? Gone?

So what does that make them? The purpose Swordsman was created for would be null and void. They were never intended to be anything aside from an extension of their master's will. Without Zero, their existence would be an anomaly. Dark Matter without direction. Without resolve, except their own. Individuality is not a trait that should hold any importance to their kind...

...Oh? Swordsman would be torn away from their thoughts, motion catching their attention. Something other than a bleak asteroid moving along the stars. A welcome distraction from their musings, which would undoubtedly lead into their typical spiral of negativity...

In the distance, they could make out the icy hues of a space-faring vessel, contrasting brilliantly against a backdrop of darkness. The design was oddly reminiscent of a marine sailing ship. In the back of their mind, it spurred an odd sense of antiquity—did they, at one point, have an idea as to what this might be? Alas, their fragmented knowledge prevented any meaningful details from coming to light.

Well. If nothing else, observation of the unfamiliar is a decent method of staving off both boredom and the bewildering notions that have plagued their mind recently. Curious, the orb-like entity would begin to draw closer to the ship.
