1929 overpriced house in Los Angeles, California has 2bd. 2ba. and a definite vibe. It’s priced at $1.155M.
This home in Melbourne, Australia has such unique decorative finds, and that’s what makes it so interesting. They “dressed” a vintage dressmaker’s mannequin and lined up some old shoe lasts. An old marquee letter sits atop a tool box.
This rustic home in Denmark has a very pleasing aesthetic. The rustic wood features are softened by flowers, art, and light furniture pieces.
There’s just something about it- whoever decorated it has a real flair for the unusual and a good sense of balance.
A faded light green futon, colorful pastel pillows and a shaggy rug give the living room a mid-century vibe.
A stark white kitchen is at least broken up with wood shelving that’s open and has colorful kitchenalia on display. The large branches on the counter also give the room balance.
The bedroom is simple, but has an attractive canopy and striped linens on the bed, for a polished look.

Welcome to Matt’s super-cool Brooklyn, New York, apt. He’s not a designer, but he’s very artistic and sells the art that he makes in the apt.’s studio.
The apt. layout is long & narrow, so he calls it the “empowered corridor.”
Basicially, it has a living space and a small studio. He built all the kitchen cabinetry himself.
He also constructed this bench for kitchen seating.
In the living room, that he calls The Luxor Room, he painted the Pyramids of Luxor on the wall 8 hrs. before guests came for his birthday party.
This is the studio where he creates and displays the art he sells to clients.
Nice bedroom filled with art.
And, finally, a small bath. I love these oddly-shaped old NYC apts. They’re so much more interesting than my cookie cutter place.
