I peel the apples and put them in a pot.

It can't be made without love. 

You walk me through the steps,

and in goes another cup.

More than driving distance away,

you hold my hands and say:

"Measure twice, cut once."

One day, I think,

although we'll be farther apart,

I will call you for advice,

and it will be my hands holding someone else.

You tell me you love me and wish me luck.
