Having to cope with small spaces is a struggle many of us know very well. In order to take the edge off the feeling that a small space could give, we must highlight it with colours and freshness. Throw pillows purpose has always been of adorn a space combining both nice colours and a sense of softness that always succeed to tone down the sharp corners of the table. Laying down on sofa and take a nap over a comfortable and fresh pillow is one of the many pleasure a home can give us and indeed the look always matters, so why do not pick up the throw pillow that has nice colours and patterns? Our decorators know this very well, they chose pillows with fresh bright relaxing colours to pair with the grey of the sofa in order to give it a little bit of liveliness, which it really needs. A beige throw blanket then, is a right addition to further soften that ugly grey on the sofa. Flowers on a table has always been a cliché, they give a room a totally different atmosphere, for the better. If I was to ask you what is missing in this room, what would you say? If you think hard enough you realise that a small floor lamp make indeed a functionality difference when the night falls. It doesn’t give out too much light like the ceiling lights do and it doesn’t illuminate just a small space like a table lamp does, it just do the perfect light that a small living room needs. The curtain in the before picture is too short and it fails in covering the ugliness of the heater, while in the after picture the new curtain can be opened and cover what we don’t like to see and, besides, it matches the lively colours of the throw pillows. A suitable match I would say.
