Started hanging art in the den. Still a work in progress. Hit some Black Friday sales for the new bookcase, wastebasket, and stuff to wrangle all the cords behind the entertainment center.
The letterboard is new and currently rocking a quote I’m sure many of my followers will recognize. I have a set of 6 mirrored chevrons I’m going to put over and under the letterboard. But that’s going to take a lot of measuring and patience (which I’m currently lacking).
I still have a couple more pieces of artwork to hang, but still trying to decide on the right places. It also doesn’t help the remaining pieces are Voltron fanart and due to the toxic people, I’m a bit burnt out. (I almost didn’t go with the quote on the letterboard.)
Later, I plan on ripping up the carpet and replacing it with wood-look tile. That room is everyone’s favorite, so it gets dirty real quick. There’s always some kind of mystery stain on the carpet, no matter how often I have the carpet cleaned.
That just about matches the oak floors I have through the rest of my home. I think wood-look tile would give me the look I want, with the durability and easy-cleanup I need. Maybe get some radiant underfloor heating, for that extra bit of coziness.
