There comes a moment where something captures your whole attention, maybe for fleeting minutes, maybe a few years, maybe a lifetime. It’s usually wisest to jump on board, maybe the end will crush you but the ride will be worth it. Just some thoughts at the end of every good book
Worthy to Blog?
As I sit here at my computer, 1:29am blinking at me furiously from the stove top clock, I can't help but think does anybody really need to read my internal monologue? I mean everyone has thoughts, experiences and a life worthy of notice but does mine really merit being put to pen and paper...err keyboard and screen?
If I were to leave the answer up to my internal critic, that listless b*tch who always tries to tell me I am not interesting enough, smart enough or talented enough, while she sits slurping loudly on a slushie in the dark corner of my mind, the answer would be no. But I instead am going to take the advice of friends, family and another voice, we'll say my inner child, who says "No really this shit is funny, you should share with people just how ridiculous we really are."
So there you have it, the ice is broken and my blogging has begun. May the glitter gods have mercy on us all.
