I am so full of dread. It feels like systemically everything i love or care about seems to get ripped apart from me. Tumblr is literally the last place online I have left. Every other site I used to frequent is gone or dead or crashed and burned or became actively hostile to lgbtq people like me. @staff saying they're going to be adding an algorithm to tumblr to make it more like other sites is the death nail. Digital homeless-ness feels like a concept I didn't have to come to grips with but if tumblr dies to algorithm spam and my follows are ignored for an algorithm pushing certain """"content""" and shunning others (queer). I hate this. I genuinely hate this. I hate the term content, I hate the mentality that thats all a human being is reduced to. On tumblr as it is now I can share the personalities and minds of other people and their interests even if I myself am not interested in those things. I learn so much about other people and the world and all of that is in jeapordy of being taken away from me just because some corporate goon sees the new userbase and is trying to wringe them for money. I don't know where else to go or how im gonna socialize after tumblr goes down. I may just go offline. . . I'll keep the few people I met here close but my hobbies will go analog i think
