This guy, who spoke at the Fringe event, has a passion project with two other guys, and by his own admission it has spelt doom for two of their relationships. He didn’t mention whether his was one… Great concept: a museum of the internet. On the internet. Beautiful in its obviousness and conceptual simplicity, but no one else had/has done it. Have a squiz.

They catalogue all the stuff that would otherwise slip into the past… old autoloader symbols, IRC etc. He mentioned the idea that his children mightn’t otherwise ever know about these things. I’m not convinced that the next generation will be interested, but for those of us for whom it’s already nostalgic to think of nyan cat it’s pretty winning.

The buzz on twitter and among some people I spoke with was concern that with no business model, it was ultimately unsustainable.

This was a toughie to haiku about. I can already see that the haikus will be harder than I expected! No wonder ‘live haiku-ing’ conferences hasn’t yet taken off ;)
