Speaking of terrible YA novels, at least you never got to read the shitty excuse for fantasy that is the "young Christian fantasy" series called either The Bloodstone Chronicles/the Maker Chronicles/The Chronicles of Fayrah by Bill Meyers, aka that guy who worked for Focus on the Family. Or his other book series The Forbidden Doors which is basically about white teenage Fundie Christians in a series that's basically a non illustrated Chick Tract.

I am going to have to do something like that. Sometimes when I watch Halloween stuff after it’s over it makes me sad because it just reminds me of how over Halloween is lol. I’m going to have to work to keep the feeling alive.

Honestly? Gotta disagree.  The less shrink wrapped and more modern the restorations the freakier they look to me. Because they look equal parts more alive and more alien.

Definitely DnD AU because can you imagine how much of a wreck this party is?  Molly just wants to rescue her kidnapped father (she’s using an alias so that no one realizes that he’s the king, thus making her a princess), but she winds up with these two idiots. Aikka is quite knowledgeable and has helped them avoid quite a few bad customers, but at the same time he’s shady as fuck. Who knows when he’s going to sell them out to a pack of Orcs.  Jordan, loyal (and also incredibly kind, who knew?), is a bit dense and probably would have died in a trap back in the first dungeon. Meanwhile Molly is super hot headed and charges into anything and everything (from drinking contests to fights).  We can only pray that no one dies along the way.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who thinks Star and Stripe has an ace up her sleeve. That's what I was thinking of when I saw her smile in the panel before the last.

yeah... if hori wanted to show that star was absolutely going to die, or have her quirk stolen, i feel he would've shown the beginning of that process at the end of the chp... not on a panel that can be rather doubtful to whats going to happen, more open-ended and cliffhanger-like

and maybe "oh but wolf, he can only take her quirk/decay her by touching her!" i still feel as if its left too open-ended to just immediately jump to star's loss... we dont see any signs of either process happening

i dont doubt shigaraki getting away alive, he's the main antagonist after all, but last chapter has left me doubtful that it's immediately over. star's the top hero of america, so either shes prepared enough to have more than one trick in a sticky situation, or im wrong

I'm probably the first one who noticed the similarity between the gargoyle Deku is standing on with the Chrysler Building gargoyles, but noticing the cherry blossom petals floating in the air, I'm reconsidering that he might still be in Japan. Afterall, I don't know if Deku has a passport or if Float is powerful enough to go across oceans.

yeah i highly doubt he left japan. if anything, deku just left the hospital, and it just doesnt make sense for him to be overseas with everything happening. there’s the cherry blossoms, and looking at images, there are differences between the real gargoyles and the one deku is standing on. i dont know any airline thats gonna let this tattered, scrapped up looking kid onto their plane, nor if any planes are even flying out right now.

he’s very likely just keeping away from areas around heroes schools, so he can stay clear of the evac areas. he could even be in a different prefecture. but taking him outside of japan is a bit too much right now

Before 310 leaks come out, I just need to say this: I have a foreboding feeling that this mission to take on the LOV head on, without his friends, is going to end badly for Deku. I feel like it's going to break him, not necessarily physically, but emotionally bc I really really feel that All Might is not going to survive this. I also feel like this will end up with AM dying even though Deku could have saved him or it's bc of Deku's doing.

oh yeah, with the way it seems to have been set up, i dont thing this new rematch will end in a good outcome. the story has always shown that working together is better, so with deku working more alone in this endeavor (acting as “bait”, being the only one to pinpoint shigaraki and afo, ect) its clear that it’ll likely end in disaster. along with deku trying to distance himself, even from all might bc he doesnt want to drag him in...

it’ll be a tragic sort of learning experience, in the end. because it does feel like this may very well set up the event of all might’s death that nighteye saw
