Intertwining Fates ( @theheartoftresistance )

It was not uncommon for the Guardian of Fire to enter the Haven and do his paperwork there, since for him to even do paperwork often required endless nagging from one of his siblings or otherwise.

Therefore, occasionally, the largest Guardian would often find himself with occasional company.

Normally it was just the keepers of the garden coming to check up on things and care for any plants needing as such, 

Today, however, as he finished up his large stack of paperwork, the General stretched his arms over his head, his joints making a soft screech of metal on metal before he lowered his arms with a sigh and a smile. After he subspaced the big stack and stood up from the table he sat at to deliver said paperwork to his out tray, the Guardian stopped when he saw that he wasn't alone as the door opened all of a sudden.

This was the first time he had seen such a small child around in the gardens so far. She was... well, she couldn't have been older than seven or eight years of age! Humans were so... tiny at that age, and he was tall, which made him positively tower over the little girl.

"Hello?" he called out to her with curiosity - who was she, and what was she doing here? Was she one of the scientists?

She was awfully young to be one, though...
