Suburban Bliss (drawing and text by David Sampethai)
He ‘s seen it all on the suburban skies. He swears the drugs opened his eyes. His mind shines brighter than the city lights. He’s home alone at his back yard, but tries to reach for things that are quite far. Even has a dream catcher hanging somewhere in the porch. He bought it in a package deal with a wolf t-shirt from the local hippy store. That’s how teenage dreamers get in the zone; it only takes some cheap gadgets and they ‘re gone.
