“ don’t tell me you’ve given up already? “ rita questions, chin placed comfortably in her hand, her elbow propped against the table. she looks relaxed, but her senses are on high alert, and she watches dorcas with eyes that are as sharp as the smirk on her lips. “ i don’t know about you, meadowes, but i could do this all day... and i will.” her words are followed by a quick wink, and she leans back in her chair, eyebrows arching in an unspoken challenge. after a few seconds, she seems to soften, albeit somewhat reluctantly. “fine. twenty percent, but that’s as high as i’ll go.”

snow covered boots were careful to knock snow off on the door frame before he opened the turn key to enter the flat he shared with his mates. if there was one thing he didn’t want to hear, then it was any bitching for trekking snow all in the house. he’d heard enough complaining from the customers at the pub that afternoon. swinging the door open, he caught the glimpse of someone moving around in the living area and spoke out, “ look mates, i have learned my manners. and you said that it couldn’t be--” his voice trailed as he saw that it wasn’t remus or peter, but instead someone that he hadn’t seen in over a week. lips twitch into a small smirk then as his head tilts to the side and his arms cross over his chest. “ well, look who it is, “ he spoke with a click of his tongue, “ m’sorry.. refresh my memory.. you are? “ dry humor, of course, used to deflect the fact that he had actually been hurt by the fact that she had been giving him the cold shoulder for so long.

♚ do they have a favourite piece of clothing?
She has a pair of ballet flats she absolutely adores. They’re the only shoe that has never let her down. One of her brothers also gave her a necklace with a single aquamarine drop in it for her birthday. She hardly ever takes it off. She loves it, and also she’s incredibly surprised any of her knucklehead brothers knew anything about jewelry in the first place. It’s a boost for his ego.
