On Even Ground

Sebastian sat on the roof of the small villa, merely looking up at the sky as he leaned back. He had nothing to do for the evening and he often found himself here when he wanted to unwind, to think. A lot had happened to him as of late, and he needed the time to just breathe. As he looked up, he inwardly wondered if it were possible for one to truly count every star in the sky if they literally had forever. He knew it was a silly though, certainly one that he would never voice, but it was an entertaining idea nonetheless. He sat up slightly as he caught a scent, smelling the other demon before he saw him.
