INTJ Stories: That One Time I...

That one time I didn’t even notice that my feet were bleeding in multiple places because I wore shoes that were slightly too big with no socks…then proceeded not to care and be more interested by the interesting patterns of the injury...

I decided to go on a walk with my dad to get out of the house (because, you know, quarantine can drive people crazy, and exercise is important). When we were almost home, my dad noticed that my achilles looked a little red and asked if it was bleeding. I said probably not, since I didn’t feel anything, but I looked down and...what do you know, he was right. I just shrugged it off and said I’ve had loads worse. Turns out that my quarter-size-too-big shoes and lack of socks caused enough friction to do that. When I got home, I obviously did the disinfecting and the bandaging, but I was more interested in the cool pattern of the injury--it reminded me of a chalice, which I honestly thought was pretty neat.

Apparently, though, no one else thought it was as cool, so the chalice shall remain a hidden gem in my memory. :(
