(College, Modern AU, where they all share an apartment off campus)
Tanjiro cooks in the kitchen, long bangs pinned up by some dollar store hair pin, humming and swaying a little as he cooks
Inosuke’s there, of course, stealing food from the pan and the table and sometimes straight out of Tanjiro’s hands
(Like, once, Tanjiro was taste testing some soup and Inosuke just reaches over his shoulder to lick the spoon and mumbles “more salt”)
Tanjiro never minds Inosuke just being very Inosuke-esque and devouring everything in his way
Zenitsu does!!
“Tanjirouuuu he’s eating all the fooooood!!!”
“It’s okay!! I’ll make more!!!”

Zenitsu honestly could care less that Inosuke’s eating his food, he’s more annoyed that he’s eating Tanjiro’s hard work without a care!!
But will he ever say that? Nope.
It took them a while to save up for a bigger bed for them. They used to all sleep together in two twin beds pushed together-and then Inosuke fell down the middle. Then they tied the beds together with belts
Tanjiro usually comes home the latest. Inosuke gets out earlier than Zenitsu, but doesn’t go home until Zenitsu gets out of classes
Sometimes they’ll just go home, but sometimes they’ll wait at Tanjiro’s job (coffee shop barista) to wait for him too!
Going home, Inosuke is the one most likely to give his jacket to one of the others becuase “I’M THE KING OF THE MOUNTAINS WHAT COLD”
Inosuke and Zenitsu end up stealing the blanket most of them time
(Tanjiro doesn’t mind, just snuggles closer to them for warmth)
Zenitsu has a mild sensory problem, mostly with his hearing and his anxiety acting up
He doesn’t do well with parties or loud noises and stuff, easily startled and spooked, sometimes gets bad headaches and migraines at loud sounds and bright lights
On days like that, even though they don’t have the same schedule, Inosuke and Tanjiro will gladly take/drive him home
Warm him up in a nice warm blanket and tea
(Zenitsu’s favorite is citrus-ginger!)
When Zenitsu feels insecure, when they bring him home and love him, Inosuke yells-encourages him and Tanjiro just gives him kisses all over his face
Tanjiro gets really bothered by certain smells! Before he was really comfortable with them, he would just open windows saying he was hot or something
(When they found out, it was when Tanjiro started gagging at the scent of some cleaners)
Now everything is lemon-scented! Only good smells for the goodest boy!!
Tanjiro also has started a candle obsession, spending, like, a quarter of his salary on B&BW (he has a membership, and everyone at their local B&BW knows him!)
Weekends are verrrrry sleepy
Everyone is out, even Tanjiro, who’s usually a morning person but is worn out by the week
Inosuke wakes up first( he’s the type who just has to do something ) and sometimes he’ll just wiggle out of bed to try ( keyword: try) to make them breakfast!
The first time, it was blackened pancakes, so he boils eggs and makes tea becuase it’s kind of hard to mess up boiling water
(He’s actually pretty good at eggs, actually. Not too soft, not to hard, once he got the hang of it)
Inosuke usually wants to go somewhere by afternoon, he’ll usually walk Tanjiro to work by noon
(Zenitsu is invited, but he’s too sleepy. He doesn’t wake up until one in the afternoon, usually)
