i like this idea in theory but there is no reason to subvert the trope when hades&persephone is already a subversion of every heteronormative marriage expectation wherein persephone is spunky and strong and hades openly adores his cheery wife while simultaneously terrifying basically everyone else

If you're going to get a sewing machine check goodwill/value village since I've seen a ton of them (at least at the ones around me) for 20-50 bucks each
