Narcissa had arrived for tea a bit early. She liked to be early for things. It gave her time to prepare and to think. She had gotten herself and Regulus’s friend a table towards the middle of the room. Too far forward and she’d feel entirely too exposed, but too far back and she might not see him come in
Sitting down, she had ordered a pot of what sounded like a lovely darjeeling from the waitress, and made sure that all of her clothing and hair was correctly arranged.
Once she had done that, she began taking a mental inventory of all of the things that she’d bought on her trip with Lucius. He’d offered to allow her to pay him back the next time she had a chance to change some more money over, and so she had purchased quite a few things for herself to wear when she was in Muggle London.
She kept her eye on the door, wondering if she’d recognize this Remus when she saw him.
