Today I came across someone in the Infinite Realms that I didn't know existed.
I was flying around with my cat Whiskey while looking for a blog ghost who stole my phone. The ambient air had dropped and the Ectoplasm around us grew colder. But the mischievous little ghost had popped back into view as we chased it further into the cold surroundings. The floating islands started to appear snowy and ice-covered.
We saw the main island show up in the distance and the blob dropped my phone on one of the smaller islands. Whiskey looked at me with concern.
"I'll be fine just fighting off the cold around us," I said feeling more than a little cold. I was using some of my stored Ectoplasm to heat myself. A trick I learned from some of the whisps that hang out at the park.
Whiskey just meowed and landed on the small island with me.
Picking up my phone to find it was dead, I sat with my legs off the edge of the ice-covered rock. My goal is done and my tiredness settles in as I use up what little Ectoplasm in my system left.
"Whiskey, I don't know if I can make it out of here on my own. Honestly feel like I could lie down here and nap." I say as I stupidly flop back into the soft snow.
Whiskey jumps on me and bats at my face. For some reason, my instincts scream safe but my body panics from the cold. I didn't even realize I was passing out.
