I know having a shattered sense of self is the basis of the disorder but sometimes I wish we were normal so I wouldn't have to feel as conflicted about my identity as I do. But then again if we were normal, I wouldn't exist.
I dunno, it's a weird feeling. I don't like knowing my existence is only because of trauma and I feel incapable of distancing myself from that fact no matter how much I want to.

I hate how people go on about "that's not cannon lol you must be faking". an introject is someone's PERCEPTION of the person/character. "they speak a different language occasionally in source and you can't even speak it!" no alter forms able to know an entire language that the body doesn't know. if alters formed with the same knowledge that their source does, we'd know everything about aliens. it's all about perceptions and it makes me so angry to see people go after non cannon introjects.
