this is like an edge case in terms of actual introjects involved, but a couple years ago we introjected the entire Darkwood (you know, from the horror game Darkwood) as both the outermost reachable part of our headspace and technically as an NPC because its like. got a weird sentient heart called The Being. eldritch shit. anyway our system admin managed to, ahem, negotiate, with it to stop spreading its roots everywhere (and also stole its name). we havent heard from The Being since, so i guess it worked. the only things we’ve noticed is that we introject characters from Darkwood fairly easily without an inciting moment of extreme emotion, though only one of them has stuck around semi-permanently, and that during bouts of paranoia we often get creatures from the game infesting our house, along with the other things.
all in all, 2/10 experience, would not recommend very unpleasant couple of hours, the two stars are only because Wolfman is cool now and the ambiance of just having the Darkwood outside really adds to the overall Resident Evil / Silent Hill vibe of our headspace
