[ THOR ODINSON ] also known as [ THE GOD OF HAMMERS THUNDER ] is [ ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND THIRTY FOUR YEARS OLD ] and is a  [ PROFESSOR ] at SU. Practice makes perfect and HE is no exception being best known for their [ ENERGY MANIPULATION ], [ SUPERIOR STRENGTH ], and  [ INCREDIBLE HAIR ]. HE is a member of [ ALPHA PI ]. Many people say that they are [ CHARISMATIC ] and [ PASSIONATE ] but they can also be [ ARROGANT ] and [ IMPETUOUS ]. HE considers himself to be a [ HERO ].

BRIEF HISTORY:

one- Thor grew up with the charmed life of someone destined to be king.  He never wanted for anything, and was beloved by all.  The fact that his smile could melt any heart didn't hurt either.

two- He became the heavy hand of Odin's reign, finding his calling in battle and the revels that tended to follow.  Thor was eventually gifted Mjolnir, with focused his power in a way that made him truly a force to be reckoned with.

three- Thor, becoming more and more reckless, was eventually exiled to Midgard, stripped of his powers and of his hammer.  He learned for the first time what kind of man he was without the birthright, and without his friends.

four- Thor triumphantly returns to Asgard a changed man, with new focus (if still more or less reckless), tasking himself with the care and keeping of Midgard.  A mission that lead to the Battle for New York and the drafting of a new band of warriors, a place where Thor finally felt truly at home.

five- Thor followed this merry band of brothers to Shield University, making ample use of the Bifrost to split his time between his duties home, getting the Midgardians up to speed on the universe at school, and doing his best to keep his erstwhile sibling in chest.  

CONNECTIONS:

    Friends: Thor honestly considers everyone a friend, until they do something to prove otherwise.  He is infinitely kind and understanding about most things (he is the guy that constantly forgives his brother for trying to kill him, after all), and specifically has a deep love for all Midgardians.     Lovers: Thor is as free with lovers as he is with friends, often finding little distinction between the two when it comes down to it.  He still hasn't quite got the hang of Midgardian courting however, and probably won't for quiet some time, used to the freer kind of love that exists for him on Asgard.     Enemies: Thor honestly doesn't think too hard about his enemies, and may not have a true one.  He is every bit the blunt instrument his hammer is, trusting that whoever points him at a target, it is truly an enemy.  But he does have true malice for those that hurt the ones he holds dear and will not rest until vengeance is wrought.     Other?: Thor is really passionate about teaching students two things- traditional battle, and about the glory of the Nine Realms.  In many ways he is kind of a dork about it and will speak for hours on end to anyone that will listen to him.  Especially about his battle exploits.

IDEAS FOR THREADS/STARTERS:

I'm super bad at starters, lets be real.  But I just want Thor to love on everyone here, because that is what he does, and I can't wait to see what develops!  He definitely wants sparring partners, by the way, so that could be a fun thread to do with someone!

HE belongs to the [ SCIENCE CLUB ]  group on campus and are a member of [ SIGMA KAPPA ]. Many people say that they are [ BRILLIANT ] and [ COMPASSIONATE ] but they can also be [ CYNICAL ] and [ UNSTABLE ]. HE considers himself to be a [ HERO ].

BRIEF HISTORY:

one - The first memory Bruce has is of his father, reaching out and slapping him across the room as if he was so light, so immaterial as to barely be there at all.  He remembered the way the color drained out of his mother's face the most.  She looked so much like she would years later, when it all got to be too much and he watched her bleed out on the kitchen floor, still begging him to run, until her voice stopped completely.

two- After his father went to prison, after everything, Bruce found himself bounced around from home to home, a quiet, thoughtful but angry child, the whole thing coming to a head when Bruce built a bomb and considered blowing up his high school.  It was a rock bottom of sorts, a wake up call, and for anyone else it would have been the end of the line, but Bruce's brilliance saved him.  A mind that could be used, molded.  Abused.

three- Bruce was sure at the time that he had never really experienced love before Betty.  He would have moved heaven and earth for her, and he felt like at times he did, even bending over backwards to impress her father.  All of which lead to the downward spiral to the reappearance of the rage that he had kept down for so, so long.

four- Running was the only way Bruce knew how to keep everyone safe.  Running and hiding until there wasn't really much of Bruce Banner left.  A man of too much knowledge, moving from town to town, opening small clinics and disappearing as soon as the word spread too far of the American doctor man with his cures and knowledge.

five- His running came to an abrupt end when Shield finally tracked him down, and making him an offer that he was pretty sure he couldn't refuse.  If anyone could make a prison that could hold his other half it was SHIELD.  The offer of a professorship was much more attractive than a prison.  But Bruce has found the job much more enjoyable than he thought he would, and has settled into a routine and a life he rather likes.  Until it all goes to hell, of course.

CONNECTIONS:

    Friends: Bruce is a very guarded man, always has been and the live he's lived has only made that more so.  He makes friends cautiously, and it takes him a long time to really trust people. The few he does eventually let in however, are gaining someone for life.  Still, he'll be the most affable person with just about everyone he meets, and be the one other people can count on.     Lovers: Bruce's caution with friends goes double for lovers.  He is too aware of how volatile he is as well, and would not wish that on anyone. He actively avoids romantic entanglements.     Enemies: Bruce actively works to not butt heads with anyone, specifically because he knows the possibility.  But he can't stand people that abuse their power.     Other?: Bruce is very fond of being a teacher, so I would love to explore his relationships with his students- those that the gets along with and those that he doesn't!  He's also dedicated to the Science Club so if anyone has any affinity for science, Bruce will be their biggest fan.

IDEAS FOR THREADS/STARTERS:

Honestly I'm down for anything, and I'm the type of RPer that will just automatically reply to any open thread.  But I also love closed starters, and I would love to chat connections and a little backstory before jumping into threads, especially if you want to start with them being friendly or close, since it takes a while for Bruce to get there.  He'll also be there trying to figure out the science behind superpowers, so he'll be looking for people willing to let him pick them apart a little.

 INTRO: HI.  I'm Ash, I'm basically an old fogie when it comes to roleplaying, and I've been in just about every crazy fandom there is, RPing it at some point.  Bruce is an old standard for me, so I'm so glad to be bringing him to you guys!  I love University based RPs and I'm so excited to get started here.

ACTIVITY: I can really have as many threads as people want, I can't think of a number that makes me overwhelmed. BRIEF HISTORY: 

AGE 15: tommy’s abilities manifested, blowing up half his high school which prompted a secret government group to take him into their custody under the guise of being a high security juvie. the facility was founded to find mutants with extraordinary abilities and turn them into government weapons. tommy was treated like an experiment, being tested and analyzed like some inhuman thing until finally he was saved by a group of kids his age. 

AGE 16: tommy officially joined the young avengers under the name speed even though his twin brother which he now knew about, wanted him to name himself after his also new uncle quicksilver. he and his twin, sought after their mother - scarlet witch, which led them on a strange journey which ended in deaths that shook them all. even though they had been reunited with their mother, the blood shed out weighted the good they’d done. 

17: the young avengers came across the the runaways, they decided to help them but were instead taken for hostiles which made the the runaways attack them. finally after battling for a while, they finally got to them and they realized they weren’t being attacked. tommy quickly got close the youngest member molly, who had super strength, just like he had super speed. 

18: after the young avengers split up once again, tommy moved in briefly with his brother billy before deciding it wasn’t his thing and moved out within a couple months. he began working at a company that hired superhuman’s to put together their electronics, which is where he met david, another mutant just looking to make some money.

BRIEF HISTORY: 

Age 15: Started staying after school to work on extra biology projects.

Age 16: SHIELD agents came to Bobbi’s home to discuss her biology experiments and work. They offered her an internship at SHIELD.

Age 17: Bobbi decided to attend SU after she graduated.

Age 18: Tension between Bobbi and her parents, who don’t want her to enter into any sort of military organization, as they were both in the army.

Age 20: Her younger sister chose to go to a different college, creating some distance between the two.

CONNECTIONS:    Friends: Bobbi would do really well with a few really close friends. She is outgoing and friendly, but still guarded. She’ll talk your ear off to get a feel for you. Once her mind is made up though, it’s hard to change, so if you pass her test, she’ll be your friend for life.    Lovers: Bobbi isn’t looking for a long term relationship, but she could be persuaded into it, if the right person came along. Right now, she likes to have some fun and would definitely be up for a friends with benefits situation.    Enemies: Bobbi could definitely use a few enemies! OOC INTRO: I’m Allie, I’m 22. I graduated college last year and am still trying to figure out what I want to do with my life and how to be a real adult. I have RPd for about 5 years, off and on. I’ve only done Harry Potter RPs though, so I am excited to branch out and see what else I can work on.

BRIEF HISTORY 

AGE 13 - Mother lied about father’s whereabouts and lead her to believe he’d die in a plane crash.  AGE 16 - Was mugged, leading her to discover the adrenaline rush of such things, began her training as a thief.  AGE 18 - Had just started her freshman year of University & was date raped by her boyfriend.  AGE 18 - Trained herself to the limits to become an Olympic level gymnast and athlete.  AGE 20 -  Stoler an original Ehrenreich painting, after her father’s death.  AGE 22 - Enrolled at SU.  

CONNECTIONS 

Platonic: Felicia is known for having her claws in other people’s pockets. This tends to cause some rifts between people, but due to her charming & charismatic ways, she tends to befriend those she’s almost robbed. Mostly these would include ROOMMATES, MOST EXS, PEOPLE SHE HAS ROBBED, PEOPLE SHE WILL ROB, TEACHERS, and VILLIANS alike. 

Romantic: Felicia is not someone who allows others into her bed without knowing them well enough, a fling with no strings attached is her preferred style, however, if you catch this kitty’s attention you’ll be in for a rude awakening when you discover she’s entered your apartment at three am with no words and merely curled on the other side of the bed. Many of her flings are with heroes or vigilantes she’s persuaded with her quick wit and flirtatious nature. 

Antagonistic: Felicia rarely finds herself, enemies, even with her habits. There are times when she can pull a very harsh comment out of nowhere or criticize others, mostly other thieves, due to her own high standards. This could also be her ROOMMATE, TEACHERS, STUDENTS, RANDOM HEROES, and THOSE SHE HAD STOLEN FROM. 

Ambiguous: As I’ve stated above, Felicia is a people person, she is calm and collected, but reckless and untrusting of those around her. She is an adrenaline junkie but also an art snob. Most threads are easy to work around with her. Do you want her to steal something? Do you want to compare the artwork? Do you need training in flexibility? Are you morally ambiguous and want someone to speak to who has no real say in the matter? These are Felicia.                   A thread I’ve been interested in would be something where perhaps Felicia is able to help another person out with their own traumas. Having experienced them herself, she knows the issue of talking to others. However, just like a cat, her claws cut deep and go straight for the softest part of the body and it will be painful.

BRIEF HISTORY:

AGE 6: kate witnessed her wealthy manhattanite father beating the shit out of someone in his private study and decided to investigate for herself. she tracked him to a spooky ooky meeting and got herself kidnapped and ofc the avengers came to her rescue. this is when kate became lowkey obsessed with hawkeye!!

AGE 16: right before her sister’s wedding, kate was assaulted in central park. the incident left her emotionally crippled and she isolated herself from the world.

AGE 17: motivated by her sister, kate decided enough was enough and she turned to martial arts to give herself some sort of new purpose while also learning to defend herself.

AGE 19: kate’s devoted the last two years to her training and has reached a level of near-proficiency in martial arts and archery - motivated largely by hawkeye, her idol. after seeing a TV expo on SU, kate decided it was the place for her and she wasn’t about to take no for an answer. using ‘hawkeye’ as her alias, kate demanded to be enrolled in the program and much to her surprise...it worked.

   Age 7: Mother and Father split, causing her to move in with her Aunt Anna in New York.

   Age 9: Discovered a love for theater and acting.

   Age 15: Became best friends with Gwen Stacy, tentatively developed feelings for Peter.

   Age 15-16: Peter and Gwen start dating, feelings projected towards Harry. First kiss with Harry.
