17, 19, 26 from the weird asks? 👀
Are you farsighted or nearsighted?
So, it's been awhile since I needed glasses (I got laser eye surgery some time ago) - but I had nearsightedness + astigmatism prior to. Now my vision's much better, but I do still have that annoying thing where bright lights like traffic lights at night have a halo around them so I try to avoid driving at night when I can :')
Imagine we're at a sleepover, would you paint my nails?
I would if you asked me to! TBH I was never great at painting my own nails, so you'd have to be okay with it being a bit messy/not perfect. BUT it would be very fun and I would try to have a wide array of colours and finishes available :D (I'm partial to sparkly nail polish, it adds to my love of being whimsical)
A scenario you've replayed multiple times?
So I was in a car accident a few months ago. Was driving down the backroads (in broad daylight) and someone was making an illegal u-turn. Keep in mind, this is a back road but it's kind of like a highway, so people are not exactly going slow.
I had about a split second to react when I realized I couldn't brake in time to avoid hitting them. Instinct told me if I hit them head on their car would have rolled, so I swerved to avoid them, the fronts of our cars collided and my car went into a ditch.
Everyone escaped with no injuries - thankfully. But I do replay that in my head a lot and wonder 'what would have happened if I wasn't paying attention and didn't react the way I did?' TBH I do think the accident would have been much worse if I didn't react the way I did. It's not fun and made me scared of driving for awhile.
Like I said, it could've been a lot worse but it wasn't. Everyone was completely fine. I felt bad for the kids in the backseat but was so pissed at the parents for doing something so reckless with their kids in the car.
Ty for the ask <333
