Notice/warnings: storm, crying
▪▪▪
Remus sometimes enjoyed rain but didn’t like thunder and lightning a lot.
He’s okay with some.
But a whole bunch, it scares him.
Remus didn’t fully remember when it started but he guessed that it started when he was a kid and stayed outside until he almost got him by lightning. He remembered that he quickly got inside and hugged his mother’s legs.
Remus looked at the dark clouds as he drove home from work.
He wants to be home before the storm comes.
When he thought that he was going to beat the storm, he got into traffic. "Nonononono!" he said to himself. Remus had to wait until he passed traffic, and he HATED waiting.
When he got past the traffic, the storm was almost above him.
Remus was panicking as he got out of his car and ran into his apartment as he heard thunder rumble.
He was breathing heavily when he got inside. Patton came out from the kitchen and saw him. "Remus!" Patton said, going to him. Remus looked at him and hugged him. He felt tears falling down as Patton hugged him back.
"Hey, it's okay." Patton reassured him.
Patton brought him over to the couch.
Remus looked at him. "Sorry that you have to see me like this." Remus whispered, looking down. Patton rubbed his back. "It's okay, Remus." Patton said. "You don't always like storms."
Remus looked at Patton and smiled at him. "How about we watch a movie." Patton said, smiling back.
Remus nodded. "That sounds nice."
They got the movie ready and hugs each other. The storm was loud outside but Remus didn't mind it. He felt safe with Patton and everything felt right.
