Summary: Kagome is taken prisoner by a bandit, who is paying off his debt to the Lord of the Land, Inuyasha. Once she lays her eyes on him, something begins to change inside of her.

Decided to write a one shot of my favorite tropes for my birthday tomorrow: soulmates, a lil fluffy smut and royalty. Have a fabulous week and enjoy my loves!💕

Wincing as one of the men pulled on her bounds and the other dug their fingers in the back of her upper arms, Kagome bit the inside of her to keep from making any noise. She learned from the beginning of her capture that the more reluctant and refusing she was, the worse they treated her. The burly human walking in front of her, currently leading the little entourage they formed to the throne room, made her want to hurl. He glanced back at her, the smirk widening on his face. Smug asshole. Cursing herself for her lack of attention, she thought back on her capture.

Work In Progress Wednesday

Dear Inuyasha,

Where do I begin with a letter that you will never see? I have so many things I could tell you, most you probably wouldn’t understand and as I sit here under the Goshinboku, the place where we first met, I have nothing. Mama suggested I write letters to you, similar to how she did when my father died, says this is supposed to help me with my grief, whatever that means, but I guess I should begin somewhere.
