Non fandom, but I was wondering… There are gryphons and hippogriffs… And there ARE owl-bears/bear-owls in some fandoms/D&D… But they don’t have wings… Which is just plain silly, if you were to ask me. Assuredly nobody did ask me, but I drew these:

And then I was inspired to make an animation with Snowy/Arctic Owl…. Later I’ll make one about a Polar Bear… Then think of how a magical accident or timing or something changed them into one creature… A Bubo-Ursa or, my personal favourite: the Inuktituk language - Nanook (Polar Bear) + Ookpik (Arctic Owl) = “Nan-Ookpik” or “Nanookpik…”
