So you're telling me that the first time Sesshoumaru felt enough rage and sorrow for another person to make Tenseiga react was when Kagura died??? Not any of the times when Rin was kidnapped or Jaken was injured?

I know her situation was more dire, but I can't believe that Sesshoumaru cares about Kagura more than Rin and Jaken. Jaken has been his travelling companion for years and years, while Rin was the first human that Sesshoumaru ever took an interest in, even going as far as to bring her back to life when he found her dead.

This just feels kinda terrible to me. I personally headcanon Sesshoumaru as aroace, but even with that aside, I just don't buy into any "connection" he has with Kagura. They met a grand total of a few times, and he largely ignored her for most of them, then all of a sudden I'm supposed to believe he cares more about her than his travelling companions? I just don't buy it. It feels like lazy writing in order to force in a romance of sorts where it doesn't belong and I kinda hate it.

Tenseiga should have reacted because of Sesshoumaru's feelings for Rin or Jaken and I will die on that hill.
