Summary: The Avengers don’t spend all their time saving the world. Sometimes, there’s a bit of a lull in the action. Enough to meet people, and take the time to think where you’re at with the ones you love… Steve Rogers gets a surprise visit at Avengers Mountain. As for Namor, perhaps he’s still not over the trauma of having a part of himself once trying to trick him into killing Bucky Barnes… (And a long time ago, the Invaders were dreaming of what they’d do after the war… As it happens, life had other plans.)

Summary: Captain America is miserable, shivering in the rain, hiding into ruins, waiting for the German attack to come. Captain America is also happy, somehow, sharing this shelter with the best of foxhole friends. How far they’ve come as a team? It’s… a marvel.
