My imagining of Jasmine from Total Drama Pahkitew Island as a young adult. 

As an Australian I have always really loved Jasmine, even if her season of Total Drama is objectively the worst. I’ve always imagined her as an Indigenous Australian, especially since she’s not from an urban centre. I’m not sure if FreshTV has commented on this, but that is how I will choose to depict her. 

She is a strong Aboriginal Matriarch!!

We’re all guilty of celebrating at Australia Day parties, I had been since my teens and I think back and feel sick about it. I’m glad the world woke up, I’m glad I woke up.
