Strange Musical Instruments Never Seen Before - Man Invents Hundreds of...
It is called the anarchestra. And it. Is. So. COOL! I want to play all of these!
The names of some of the instruments friggin’ killed me though. Then again, after making hundreds of them, I think I’d be at the “fuck it, this one’s name is Turd” point too. (No, seriously, I’m not joking. He named a hurdy-gurdy-like instrument ‘Turd’. There’s another called ‘Four Flusher’)
I’ve had this squirreled away to post some night. Since I posted a theremin already, I think this is the night.
This is kind of interesting - --when i took the fam to Pittsburgh there was a really cool visual representation of music being projected into the floor at the children’s museum.. cant remember the artist but super fun

You Have Never Heard An Instrument Like This Check out the instrument Javier Bustos invented and plays. Haunting sounds that would be great in a horror flick.
Genius? Madness? Obligatory joke re lost marbles.
Coolness anyway.

Boost Your Skills: Adopt a New Instrument. Maybe This Trippy Yaybahar?
Adopting a new instrument can push your musical awareness of pitch, rhythm, timbre, melody, and harmony to new and useful places. A new and unfamiliar instrument can also add a spark to your practice if you’re bored with the same-old same-old.
Here’s a fascinating new acoustic instrument, the Yaybahar, made and played by Görkem Şen. What a great sound! And the practice space is not bad either….
