Aerodrones — Javier Bustos

Aerodrones is a 30-minute sound performance performed by a musician and an extravagant wind instrument.

Balloons, valves, bellows and hoses form a musical machine that requires the interpreter's body to function as a motor and operator simultaneously.Once the "machine" is put into operation, Aerodrones is installed in the sound space as if we were listening to a great chorus of boats and trains executed by a fragile "retro-futurist" device that demands the constant action of the interpreter. 

This work was originally performed as a sound intervention for the Lugar Otro installation . Cooperativa Disentida artistic collective, Ana Giura and Carolina Herman.
