“You’re asking what I think of her? That crazy, tyrannical, and obnoxious woman? I’d rather tear out my own eyes than to ever have to work with her again! What reason does she even have to act so self-assured, when everything about her is a terrible contradiction, an oxymoron that isn’t even funny! A brainless corpse like her is only useful for complete and utter destruction, and nothing else.”
(Translation: It’s basically impossible for the two of them to get along. They can work towards a common goal, but they’re far too similar and dissimilar to not bicker and complain constantly. However, that they cannot get along is why they are well suited for each other. They can trade insults and disagree on literally everything, without worrying that it will get in the way of anything else. There’s mutual disgust, but they know and understand each other well enough that it works out.
Saber is constant and unchanging, she is herself no matter what, and the lack of surprises brings Jeanne some peace of mind. They’ll always be competing, they’ll always be on each other’s nerves, but if Saber ever dares accept death, Jeanne will be there to insult her until Arturia is ready to outdo Avenger again… Basically, they can’t get along, but Jeanne still enjoys Saber’s presence and would hate to see her giving up or acting weak.)
