“you really think i’d download this app and dare to use it in front of you without vetting it first? come ooooon aj. come onnnnn.” kody rolls his eyes, waving the supposed ‘ ghost hunting ’ app he’d downloaded the night before in front of aj’s face. he’s sporting a toothy, excited grin as he pulls the phone back towards himself and starts scrolling through its main page to use its ‘ ghost scanning ’ feature, like he’s convinced it’s going to work. “four and a half stars, aj -- four and a HALF stars. that’s got to mean something.” despite the claims that he’s vetted the app, he did not take the time to go through and read the reviews. unknown to kody, but the app that he’s attempting to use is actually intended to be used as a prank, and right now, the only person getting pranked is himself. “LOOK, SEE!” he shouts, pointing at the little green arrow on the screen directing them towards where the app claims there is a ghost. “i bet if we look over there, we’re gonna find somethin’.”
