The sweet aroma of chocolate filled the castle like a wonderfully fluffy cloud. It was certainly a welcome change to the rather... Peculiar smells that came from Smile’s experimentation when he decided to borrow Yuli’s basement, and it was even a welcome change to his own nose.
With an excited grin the ghost leaned against the counter and surveyed his handiwork, proud of what he had produced: a delightfully fluffy, perfectly frosted and delicious looking cake... Or at least, it was perfect in his own sights.
He had followed the recipe perfectly, after all! And the results were to be expected. Sure, following a recipe and making something like this wasn’t quite as exciting as making something brand new, but there was something that tickled Smile for reproducing another’s work.
Well! Now for the next part of the experiment: the taste test! He could eat some of the cake himself, of course! But he thought there was a much better candidate around for the task: Yuli! Cutting a sizable piece off of the cake, Smile immediately went out to find the vampire.
